Release 5.0	Improves directory screen with more information and functionality including date, time and user-id of the last change made to each map.  Adds new functions from the directory: Edit, Browse, Test, Copy and Delete.
	Adds edits to ensure only one user at a time can update a map preventing one user’s changes from being overlaid by another user’s updates to the same map.  Multiple users can browse the map while another user is updating it.  Adds an unlock capability to the Administration screen to unlock a map being updated by a user that is unavailable, in case that map must be changed by someone else.
	Adds support for the DFHWBOUT (WeB OUTput) macro, which generates customized HTML from TEMPLATE map assemblies.  Aids in web-enabling legacy BMS maps for use with the 3270 Bridge.
	New B-Browse function on the main menu and the directory screen.  Browse allows a user to look at a map without updating its last-changed statistics.  It also allows browse access while another user is updating the map.
	Expands PICIN and PICOUT maximum field lengths from 20 to 40 bytes to allow for the larger numeric fields possible with today’s compilers.
	Adds new warning messages when a variable field is not named, when a constant field is named, or when a field exceeds the BMS maximum of 256 bytes.
	Various other fixes and enhancements
Release 4.9	Corrected how the Delete, Insert, and End keys work. On the 4.8 paint screen these keys affect the rest of the map. On the 4.9 paint screen these keys just affect the rest of the line, as expected.
	Enabled a map to be changed properly from a model 5 terminal. This does not work correctly in release 4.8.
	Eliminated a potential problem with copybooks generated for two-dimensional arrays by eliminating "HV" as a valid option for the DIR. field.

Release 4.4	Revised MAPP008 to handle BMS macros generated by conversion utilities from IBM's SDF or SDF/II. All BMS macros from SDF or SDF/II must now be input to MAPP008.
	Added a new CICS/MAPR II system parameter 'PRINT NOGEN'. A value of 'Y' will cause 'PRINT NOGEN' to be generated in the BMS source macros (program MAPP030). A value of 'N' will cause the 'PRINT NOGEN' to not be generated.
	Added a new CICS/MAPR II system parameter 'Stopper Length'. This parameter determines the field length (0 or 1) of the field delimiters (stopper bytes).
Release 4.3	Added a new batch program, MAPP008, which reformats BMS macros produced by the IBM SDF/II conversion utility into a format which MAPP010 can handle.
	Added a REPLACE option for loading maps to the master file using program MAPP020. It can be used to replace maps with the same name which already exist on the master file.
	Changed BMS conversion program MAPP010 to handle 'wrap-around' fields (fields which start on one line and continue to the next line).
