Release 2.7 The *EHLOAD function of the HELPUTIL batch program has been replaced with 4 different formats of the *EHLOAD function.  Now, all information for a screen and fields can be supplied using HELPUTIL, not just field help text. 
  Multiple-line “fields” can be defined using the “Array Indicator” field of the *EHLOAD4 record.
  A “Debug Option” on the HCFG screen that can be used to help diagnose datastream and other issues
  This release is the first OCO release of Easy Help.
   

Release 2.6 Introduces support for the Graphic Escape (x’08’) 3270 datastream character.

Release 2.5 A ‘Find’ function has been added to the help display, to allow users to find a string within the help text for the field being displayed.
  The "Sticky Cursor" function has been enhanced by allowing you to specify which text can be used for a field by surrounding it with a ‘~’ (tilde) or other specified character. The user can tab directly to text indicated as "sticky". Optionally, you can specify that the user can only select "sticky" text to be copied to a screen input field.
  When creating or updating help text, MacKinney Systems’ CICS/QEDITOR can optionally be used, which provides several additional editing options. A configuration option allows you to switch between the "native" and the QEDITOR editor.
  Help text for a particular field or for the screen overview is no longer limited to a maximum of 25 17-line screens. (425 lines). Up to 5000 lines of help text can be created and updated if using the QEDITOR editor.
  The HELPUTIL program has been enhanced to allow loading, unloading, and deleting of help text for a specified field. This allows for editing of help text using editors other than the native and CICS/QEDITOR editors.
Release 2.4 This is a maintenance release only.
  Fix EZH2301 is included, without which some installations were limited to only 50 terminals using help without disabling/enabling the Easy Help exit program
  An RDO file containing definitions (including EXECKEY options) is now included.

Release 2.3 This is a maintenance release only.
  A version of the CICS attach exit program (HELPXZCP) is now supplied for CICS Transaction Server.
  For MVS, support for CICS releases prior to CICS 4.1 has been discontinued, and the 24-bit version of the loadlib is no longer included on the installation tape.
  For VSE, support for releases of CICS prior to CICS 2.3 has also been discontinued, and the phases in the distributed sublibrary have also been compiled as 31-bit programs.

Release 2.2 A 'sticky cursor' feature has been added to allow help text to be picked up by the cursor and copied into a users' application field.
  Easy Help is now compatible with COBOL II and may run above the line.
  All BLL cells have been removed.
  All windows with paging capability allow the user to go directly to any page by typing in the page number. This covers the text display, text update, screen directory, and field directory windows.
  Users with the proper authorization can change application field row, column, and length definitions from a field directory window.
  An exit facility has been incorporated that links to a user supplied CICS program to provide help text for specific fields.

Release 2.1 Upper and lower case help text is now supported on all terminals, including those whose text is converted to upper case by CICS
  When paging to the next or previous field's help text, the cursor and help window also move correspondingly.
  Easy Help may be invoked from application programs for installations wanting only a limited number of applications to use Easy Help and for installations not wanting to use the Terminal Control Exit programs.
  The PF key used to display the Easy Help menu (default is PF3) now causes a return to the previous screen. This makes it easier to navigate through the screen and field directories without returning to the menu.
  For applications that support multiple screen sizes, requests for help are now independent of the actual screen size used, if the fields are defined on row/column combinations that are valid for both screen sizes.

Release 2.0 All Easy Help displays are now contained in windows within users' application screens.
  The number of steps to define screens and fields has been significantly reduced
  Easy Help displays now take full advantage of extended color and highlighting on terminals supporting those features.

Release 1.2 Easy Help configuration parameters are now maintained in an online configuration file.
  Upper and lower case help text is supported. Selective highlighting of help text is also supported.
  Utility program HELPUTIL allows selective restores by screen name
  Easy Help now runs under CICS releases 3.1 and 3.2.

Release 1.1 Easy Help now works with BMS paging if the RETAIN parameter is not used in the SEND PAGE command.
