Raleigh, NC - February 1, 2005: Dignus, LLC announces major architectural enhancements in Release 1.80 of Systems/C and Systems/C++

The Systems/C and Systems/C++ compiler products provide a flexible development environment for IBM zSeries and System/390 processors. Version 1.80 of Systems/C and Systems/C++ now incorporates new cutting-edge code-generation technologies and continues to improve the Systems/C runtime environment and utilities. These fundamental architecture enhancements have shown dramatic performance improvements and set the path for new future integrated products. Some key customers are reporting, on average, a 24% improvement in run-time performance.

The Dignus runtime library has been updated and enhanced to fully support the breadth of C/C++ 64-bit addressing, ANSI and C++ product features. Finally, the Systems/C and Systems/C++ 1.80 cross-compiler products for Windows, Linux, Solaris, HP/UX, AIX and FreeBSD incorporate the same enhancements and features that are provided with Systems/C and Systems/C++ 1.80 for z/OS.
